Innovations Day 2009 will be taking place on Wednesday 21st October and it promises to be even bigger, even better and even more fun!

Download an agenda for the day.

Innovations Day continues its interactive, hands on approach, and once again there will be a future focus to the event. You will have the opportunity to hear all about the innovative work taking place in the region in the Galley Zone and get to see brave fortune hunters battle it out for up to £50,000 of funding from Improvement East in Treasure Island.

The Galley Zone will give you the opportunity to get down to some serious conversation and hear all about innovative projects that have taken place in the East of England. You will be able to select up to three roundtable discussions, one at 10am, one at 10.45am and one at 11.45am. The discussions will be informally led, with no PowerPoint allowed!

Please note that you will need to select your three Galley Tables when you book your place, and this will be on a first, come first served basis.

There will also be opportunities to network and hold more informal discussions throughout the morning in the Crows Nest, where refreshments will also be available.

In the afternoon you will attend the Treasure Island session, where five brave fortune hunters will attempt to win treasure of up to £50,000 of funding from Improvement East. But in order to do so they must first convince the Pirate Captains that their project is innovative, pioneering, inventive and viable. Come along to hear about the ideas for the future and vote for your favourite.

There will also be plenty of time to visit the many exhibitor stands where you can learn more about projects, products and programmes that may be of interest to you and your authority.
