Hertfordshire Consultation Event - East of England Plan > 2031
09/09/2009
19:00
- 20:30
Robinson House, Herts Development Centre, Six Hills Way, Stevenage, SG1 2FQ.
Over the next 20 years, the East of England will have a growing economy and a population expanding by up to 50,000 people a year. Along with other social trends, this creates demand for new housing.
The Government has asked the East of England Regional Assembly (EERA) to review regional planning policy to plan for new jobs and homes up to 2031 and beyond.
This consultation event will focus on Hertfordshire and provide an opportunity for members of the public and interested organisations to discuss the economic, environmental and social trends and the choices we need to make to plan for the future.
